I occasionally enjoy a cold one while I run my hydro (don’t tell OSHA).

But I’d be sober as a parking block running that death wheel.

I have used some sketchy chite... But even I think I would take a pass on that. I can just see trying to turn the round and having a hand slip off into the blade path.

Not to mention I have seen way to many final decision movies

Listening to that "wheel of death" while it was in use, yeah, I would have loved to be using that early in the morning after my drunk neighbor and wife came home at 1:30 making sure I heard them.........  Just to return the favor!

I've seen some other spinning wheel of death splitter videos where the wood gets shot out so hard it looks like a Mike Tyson bodyshot.

    I'mmmmmmm goooooooood!

No thanks. Look how long it takes him to get through one round of wood. Yeah he probably built that thing himself and saved some money vs what I did which was spend a bunch on an Ariens hydraulic splitter but big deal, I've made my money back tenfold in the time I've saved splitting wood with it and not losing fingers or an eye. Body parts aren't quite replaceable like money is.

There some point where you have to tell yourself you’re doing something wrong. It’s always better if it’s before the ambulance ride.

Also the log should get hit from the side not the end. From the side the split happens gradually forming a V shape. From the end the splits have to completely and immediately move away from the wedge. Creating a violent action.

The Cavedude splitter was well thought out. Almost looks like a Power split with a spinning wheel.

This one seems a lot less explosive than croc guys as well. Guy running it looks like Jesse Duke

Yup, inertia from weight not speed.

What cracked me up about that video was after the guy got the round up on the table for splitting with the death wheel he could barely see over the top.

You would have to be a little nuts using that thing.
