    Once it clears up I will get at them. Need the rain but I hate to chance getting wet...since I'm so sweet I might melt. :)

    Split and stacked almost all the maple. Nothing like getting out and swinging the fiskars to clear the mind. :)

    Just have 4 big rounds yet to split and stack. Hoping it finishes out the center of my stack

    Site & Smell of fresh split & stacked wood is AWESOME !

    Nice double row with space between, don't get much better than that.

    Nice cross stacked ends too :yes:

    (lucky you , now you get to mow your grass ) :)

    Polished off my stack using the last of the big rounds. 16' of 16" at 4' gives me 2/3 chord of shoulder wood. Should be all I need for 2016/2017.

    Since I have that much left at my house for 2015/2016 I'm out of business for shoulder material for a year!

    Time to focus on gooder wood....and beer.

    The logs are part of my elm stash. I've got those propped up of the ground on some limbs for now.

    I'm a big fan of soft maple. Gooder than 'shoulder' wood IMO. Nice work schlot!

    Red maple, actually. I don't get much oak either. :( There's only a handful of mature oaks in my woods. They're all really nice though - straight and plumb and branch free for a good 40'. They'll end up as lumber if they ever come down. I wouldn't cut them though - I'd rather let them seed my forest with more oaks. :)
