    This one will be staying in Stock form sense it is not mine. But hay for a sub $200 saw it doesn't cut bad with a decent tune.

    I have often wondered if there were any easy mods for the 5020, but I know of nothing other than maybe opening the muffler. But it is pretty open to start with.

    As was said, it is a sub $200 saw, heck it can be had for less than $150 refurbished.

    I agree with you guys. For a 50cc saw at less then 200 dollars it is not a bad way to go. But there are a lot of older Poulans that can be had for that kind of money that will run circles around a 5020 and they are not clamshell saws either. You just need to know a little about how to work on them.
