20240502_090721.jpg Starting a new undercarriage on a 700 JD. Probably take a week to get parts. They were supposed to be in Monday.

Havent posted due to inspection delay. Postponed for a bit. Cleared inspection on Wednesday so I was able to start laying pressure treated subfloor. IMG_5352.JPG IMG_5351.JPG Finished subfloor yesterday and got the long wall framed. IMG_5355.JPG IMG_5354.JPG IMG_5353.JPG

That's a 25 pound one I found in a hay field. I made a post about it a couple years ago.

I'll get it off the blocks and adjust the tracks tomorrow. Also grease it and check the ac. Should be good for a while.

Small construction company. I'm what you would call head mechanic. I'm over all repairs, parts, service schedules, and ordering all supplies and oils. Have 1 helper who I fired the other day because he couldn't get to work on time, then when he got in he spent 30 minutes eating breakfast. Plus he would miss at least 1 day a week. Bad deal is he came crawling back to the owner and gave him a big spill about needing work for his kids and other stuff. Thing is he's doing the same thing again. I told him he is on thin ice from me.
