Ill post. Three season porch addition I started today. Roughly 12x20'. Removed some siding (the entire wall was stripped clean) and used the Isocore to break up the concrete step. Broke rather easily much to my liking and surprise. IMG_5232.JPG IMG_5233.JPG IMG_5235.JPG Rot to fix before I can start the actual build. IMG_5234.JPG I guess I'll post as it progresses.

Helical piers installed by techno metal post. Screwed into the ground, load rated and code compliant. No digging. I HATE digging. The water table is very high there so I'd be into mud. I HATE digging into mud even more.

Had a h-link break on a track hoe. Ill install it in the morning. Took pictures before I finished welding. Don't critique my welds to bad, my eyes are not what they used to be. 20240415_081240.jpg 20240415_102812.jpg 20240415_102820.jpg

Pretty welds look nice. Welds that hold are better.

Unfortunately I don’t get to break the stuff. Just deal with it afterwards.

Continued demo on Monday. New door and structural repair finished yesterday. IMG_5284.JPG IMG_5285.JPG Started the framing today. 20' pressure treated 2x10's are HEAVY. Floor framing should get done tomorrow if the rain holds off or is light enough. IMG_5291.JPG IMG_5288.JPG IMG_5289.JPG IMG_5290.JPG IMG_5292.JPG

Not secure yet as its only tacked (screwed) in a few spots until I got it leveled.

Yup, bought my first Dewalt 30+ years ago and they have treated me well. The guy I'm doing the work for is an electrician and he's big into Milwaukee as is the contractor I work for sometimes.
