I Hear ya on the hard hats! Seems like you pull onto a job site and foremans are parked right in the way.
Back at the scene of Fridays debacle. The white hats are scurrying around everywhere. It would be nice if they just got out of the way and let us work.
You know how it goes, hit it on something all day. It's healing but I think I cracked the bone as well. Thanks for asking.
I remember all too well. Take it slow my friend and work safe. Been there done that with hammers and pry bars.
I was doing good right up until I saw the stitch through the nail. You will feel that for the next few days/weeks for sure. Assuming you are right-handed, at least it's your left. I raked the side of my right thumb across a bolt thread a couple weeks ago, and while I didn't need stitches (considered some super glue though! ), it remained tender for until the last day or so. It's more than minorly inconvenient when your thumb on the dominant hand is Out-Of-Service. ETA: You're supposed to get your apprentice to hold whatever it is you're hitting.
That's exactly what happens. bump "Ow #%$ me" bump "OW &*^%it!" bump "OWW Son of a ^&%$@!" All that just to get your coffee made.
That's about it! I was helping my neighbor last week with his tractor and he dropped the third arm on it. Said a few choice words over that.
luckily it was the tip of my left hand (non dominant) i took off when i had that hydro accident. Dexterity not what it was. Ziploc bags are my arch enemy!
I hear ya. I don't think dexterity will be a problem but it's numb and probably gonna stay that way. Then again that may not be a problem.
