Well I'm at the clinic waiting to get stitches. Was driving a hub apart on the back of the service truck and it slipped. Those 4 pound hammers aren't shy at full swing.
8 stiches. Coul have been worse. Have to say the doctor lady was great. After the first shot of lidocaine i never felt anything after.
Can't like any of those pictures! That's going to throb tonight. What ever you do, don't hit it again!! Hope it heals quickly with little fuss.
Yeah gonna pound like stereo in Compton! Seems like I'm prone to hand injuries, weither by me or someone else.
Haven't had time for pictures but the a/c compressor on a 17 model Mack may have been worse than busting my thumb. . It's located at the back of the engine down low between the motor and frame. It's not fun.
Wow, that picture hurts. Glad you had a good doc. Pretty wild to see a stitch thru your nail. Take care of that thumb.
Back out at the scene of the crime. Had to put the fan hub, fan and clutch, and change a tire in the cold and snow. Now I know you guys that's used to snow thinks this isn't much, but down here it starts doing this folks rush to the stores to get ingredients for milk sandwiches.
And the inspector turned the first truck away after priming and getting the concrete going through the pump so now we sit and wait while the concrete dries in the machine and hope for the best when the next truck shows. This chit always happens on Fridays!
Second truck got turned away as well. Expensive day for the company. And I got soaked cleaning up in below freezing temps for nothing. Good times!
Hope that thumb heals up quickly! And despite it snowing regularly every winter here in New England, the grocery stores are always mobbed before a storm.
Glad I don't have to work on that concrete eq. Job I just left last February we had lots of pavement eq., I don't miss it any.
The Schwing pump just works always with minimal maintenance. I maintain and operate it, as long as it’s cleaned out properly it is an animal. The job would be easy if it wasn’t for the people in the white hard hats getting in the way…
