I have been admiring those jeans too, check out what I read in the description! "Patented leather tape measure reinforcement on right front pocket"

I'm right handed, but when I measure and mark a board to cut, the tape is in my left hand and the pencil is in the right. So it's the left pocket that should have the tape measure reinforcement.

Oh, BTW, All circular saws are left handed

    I agree...But
I've been in construction all my life and have yet to see a right handed circular saw on the job. Except a few battery saws.

Kinda like a left handed chainsaw;)
(yes , i know Cox and Porter Cable made them 40 years ago or so: )

I love my PC saw but have the one sold as right handed. My left handed son got one sold as a left handed one for X-mas a few years ago.
I can't agree on the wrong handedness of saws. One sold as a right handed saw feels just right to me, a more common right hander. The saw is properly supported by the base plate when you run a right handed one right handed. If I needed to see the blade itself it would be time to get a different saw. When I am following a line I can easily use the markings on the base plate to be dead on with my cuts and it is nice to have all of the sawdust on the side away from you. That big flat surface on the bottom of the saw should be on the main body of the material being cut and the tiny plate on the other side of the blade can ride across the part that will fall away as you finish a cut.

I'm not a fan of the flannel lined pants, you know the saying: cotton kills! A few years ago I sprung for some merino wool long johns, and they are well worth the money. They're WAY more comfortable than the old waffle pattern cotton long johns, and they do a better job of regulating your temperature too when you're active, but aren't cold and clammy when you stop for a break.

Over them I wear either Dickies, which seem to hold up well, and I have 2 pairs of old American Eagle jeans that are impressively tough. For a brand that's more "designer" they make quality clothes and the denim holds up better than Wrangler, Lee's, and Levi's in my experience.

I have some pretty good quality long johns if I need them. They are better than the old stuff but prefer the comfort of lined in most cases especially since usually I just want to throw on some pants and go. Mostly wanted for work in the unheated garage and around the yard in fall and winter. Regular jeans aren't up to it and the lined ones I had a few years ago were really comfortable (don't know brand).

Gonna look at the brands mentioned. Doesn't sound like any really got a thumbs down. Mainly wanted opinions on which are holding up in the traditional wear spots (or not) without ripping or coming apart at the seams.

Got a lot of those! Right around the time they start getting comfortable I'll do something outside and end up ventilated.

I've purchased good, fairly priced work clothes from Madsen's in WA.

    Welcome To Madsen's Online

They are the real deal for loggers. I've been to their place and their service is very good. Even when I walked in dressed up (business casual - traveling for work) they paused only for a second when I started talking about saws and chain then treated me like the logger at the counter next to me...

Ordering by phone or fax is easiest.
