I don't have the room unless I cut down more pine and that won't happen for a few years.

I was talking with the wife and we agreed that this will be made on our first cool week in September.

I split and stacked three trailer loads of popple today along with stacking another load of cherry. Getting the popple split and stacked clears out an area I can move that big pine rounds to so the area the big pine rounds are coming from will be clean enough I can finish what's left.

I still haven't called yet, I have a few more things that I'll do before calling, I might call tomorrow or give them the rest of the week.

There was a time when I wanted them back ASAP but since the inventory of firewood is healthy, not a problem.

Nothing going on for firewood related work but yesterday I washed the car (soaked when I came in) and today I did the truck, it was actually warmer today compared to yesterday when I started but we did have a nice breeze that made it feel cooler out.

We could use some cooler. Was supposed to be cooler but I guess it was cancelled as we will be in mid 80's rather than 70's.

We had a temp of 75.4 outside when we woke up this morning, hopefully the front moves in this afternoon.

Super humid and hot here today. Dewpoint mid 70's. One heck of a thunderstorm went through mid afternoon. Lots of thunder, 1.5 " of rain. Cant recall the last storm that had that much lightning.

We received some rains but nothing like we need, they say tonight around 8 p.m. we get hit with heavy rains.

Any of the heavier rains today stayed south of us, our area received some rains from the outer edge of the storm which wasn't much.

Friday night TWC is forecasting a low of 49 for our area with a bunch of nights in the 50's before that, what a nice change that will be.

Sounds like Heaven to me. Last night i left the AC running until 4am when i shut it off. Usually i turn it off around ten or so. Wednesday the temps will be back to normal. Cutting a load of wood tomorrow and just as hot!

What type of firewood are you cutting? I think we're in for a day of rain tomorrow but after that I can start back cutting some downed maple or stacking cherry, I better get the stacking done first.

Stack first, hoard later. Been trying to do that myself.

Cut tomorrow is a secret. Gotta keep you in suspense. New score i found on FBM the other night. I checked it out in person late this afternoon and got the okay. If it didnt rain i may have even cut some. Back right up, cut and load. Just taken down on Friday so nice and fresh.

Good, still working on all the pine from 2018 but the house lot should be clear of another three areas by next fall if not before. I haven't been doing much with the weather we've been having but that will change after tomorrow.

I see you're keeping busy with your business and the new pizza oven/fireplace build, how's everyone in your family?
