I've been wearing Rocky boots for the last couple of decades. I'm only on my second pair. I do think I'll be buying a pair of thorogood boots soon though. They are made in Wisconsin and the outlet store is on my way to the cottage where my mom lives in the Northwoods.

I run Red Wings for work (5-7 days 10-14 hour days on concrete floor at 260lbs :D)... I buy a new pair about every year, been like this for about 13-14 year?... When my feet, ankles and lowers legs beg for forgiveness :wacky: its usually about the year mark.. They are most comfortable boots I've found. I've tried to resole, but they didn't come back with the "cushion" that a new pair had. Prior to that I was using Justin work boots replacing every 4-6 months...:faint:... Plus the customer service at the local red wing store know me and I've only had one "Bad" pair that they gladly replaced.
