woodstock returned stoves?

    Yeah, it never made sense to me that they would test with crib wood, not cord wood.

    The reason for using crib wood over chord wood is that is more consistent fuel which gives more consistent results. No it is not representative of actual real wood stove useage. But it gives a uniform baseline

    I'm not so sure the EPA site is kept up to date all that well.

    The EPA site could be behind or the marketing could be a bit ahead of reality. Either way I am sure they will get all of their stoves to pass.

    Not that it has not passed. At the time of printing it had not yet passed. After all, if they are not tested yet, they have not passed.

    The EPA site does have a delay on getting newly passed stoves listed...some mistakes sometimes too, a while back they had the Kuuma furnace listed as having very low efficiency...but they did fix it quickly once Lamppa MFG notified them of the mistake.

    No, governments are too big to fail, I mean make mistakes, I mean.... Look, we need to give more to our government so they can hire more people to check the accuracy of the people they already have employed.
