We had a great visit, and it was a lot of fun to chat with some of you and put more faces to screen names (I wished we could have stayed longer to visit more - we ate before coming inside, and only briefly saw you guys that were headed out to eat).

I spent a lot of time with Stephanie, learning more about the innards of my PH, which was both helpful and a lot of fun (we both agree the PH is the true queen of the Woodstock line). We have a brand new AS that we’ve never used, and are trying to decide if it gets set up in the living room, or if an insert goes into that fireplace. They had talked of adding an insert to the line a few years ago, but it doesn’t sound like one is imminent.

Sounds like yinz all had a fantastic time up there, wish we could've came up but we're slated to go to Maine/NH for a few days in two weeks so two trips up just wouldn't have worked. Im glad to see several of our members got a chance to "meet-n-greet", any chance I have to meet a fellow FHC'r is a great time.

That being said, hope to see as many of you as possible at Walt's place in OH, less than a week from now!

I don't know how Dennis (Backwoods Savage ) goes to all these events so far away from home. He has had his share and more of physical challenges, yet he goes like the energizer bunny. I haven't attempted any overnight travels for at least three years. Those before that were not out of state for many more years. I had traveled so much while I was in the military. Sort of lost my spirit for being away from my own bed. I did have a fantastic time at Brian and Dawn's place for that GTG. (even though the outhouse was rocking!)

Ah ha! We both left the same day. It was a pleasure meeting up at Woodstock.

Ah yes, we did have a good time and as Larry said, yes, it is a long trip. Being able to go with my son meant a lot to me. He too will become a Woodstock customer when he builds his new home back here.

Tom asked me Friday night how many hoarders would be there and I guessed 8-10 and was right. Good turnout for the hoarders.

, Very good. Good relations are so important. When your son moves home, he can be a huge asset to advocate for you and your wife esp. for health care. . All my kids moved back to this area and live within 10 miles.

I had a great time. EVERYONE was in such good spirits. Smaller turnout than the others but I think it was my favorite open house yet.
