Look around for the Hoarders as there will definitely be some there. If can't find, ask one of the Woodstock guys or gals where Dennis is.

We are planning on going, possibly making it a week long vacation around there and into Maine.

I just RSVPed yesterday as well. Hoping to see lots of FHC people there. I’m bringing my brother along. He went with me to pick up my stove and he’s interested in going back to wood in the future too.

Heading out in the morning, about 4-5 am. Going through FT Wayne IN, up 24 to 6 to 2 to 90 through Cleveland Ohio around 7 or 8 am. Anybody's guess after that, stopping for breakfast somewhere in there, doing some sightseeing along the way, stopping for the night around Albany or Schenectady. Anybody want to hook up with us for breakfast, lunch, or the whole trip, let us know. PM me, I will try to check on here though out the day.

Yeah he’s been pretty quiet. I figured he must be on the road. Beautiful weekend up here in the northeast for travel. I’m looking forward it! Should be there by noon hopefully.

We had a great time time here today. Fun to talk with the people who built our stove. Also got to meet Backwoods Savage and a few others from on here. Excellent food and beverages. PART_1538851816587.jpg PART_1538851817387.jpg PART_1538851815758.jpg

Would have loved to have made it there, but with the Ohio GTG, gotta prioritize sometimes.

Great day, great to see a few folks from this forum too. Woodstock not only put on a nice selection of food but as usual the staff was there, friendly and helpful as always. And a special thanks to Stephanie for rebuilding two (2) Ideal Steel doors as well as installing new hardware and door handles. And I was again surprised that there was no charge for any of that even though nothing they did was their responsibility (parts worn, parts installed incorrectly by.... they kittens, yeah, that's is, the kittens, and 'stop- gap' (read: incorrect) hardware used by the current owner :emb:).

For those who have never been to Woodstock, I highly recommend taking the time if / when possible to stop by- the sheer 'niceness' of the entire company is really impressive!

It was a pleasure on my part seeing all of you, too. After being away from the forum and burning in general due to health the last couple years, it’s great to jump back in, see some familiar and some new faces, and make it up to Woodstock for my fourth (?) visit - but first Woodstock GtG - over the years.

It was great to chat with Tom again too. His kindness and ability to recall particulars of his customers and their families is nothing short of amazing.

I had a great time at the open house! Great food and beer and even better people! Everyone at Woodstock is so nice and accommodating. They obviously want customers for life, a very rare thing these days it seems.
One of the highlights for me was meeting several FHC members there. I look forward to seeing you all again at a FHC GTG in the future. It’s nice to put a face to a name and it’s always great to spend time with such wonderful people. Woodstock is a special company, and FHC is a wonderful place both due to the friendly, caring people. I made some great new friends yesterday!

Just a side note and an FYI for any of you who may have dealt with Penny at WS over the years. She lost her husband this past spring to liver cancer, and she’s decided to retire at the end of this year. I’m sure she’s had a tough year, but she has plans going forward and seems pretty positive about it, but it will be a huge adjustment no doubt. I know we’re all wishing for a bright future for her.
She’s also training her replacement, Laureen, who seems very nice, and I’m sure she’ll fit right in there.
