    its amazing how much less wood an efficient stove will use! I had a customer telling me how he loads his stove 4-5 times a day last winter, and was incredulous when I told him that I just reload in the evening, and then again in the morning, no need to set an alarm to reload like he does.

    I remember way back when we only had one stove on the first floor.At the time we were burning a Hearthstone II which was fired up with coal.It was good and toasty in the house when an uncle came by who was a plumber.He said it's great in here but don't let that cellar get so cold that you end up busting pipes.I ain't coming by to fix em if you do.That's when I said to myself I didn't think of that.That's when I knew I was putting a stove in the cellar.
