I picked up this Rayburn oil stove off fb market place cheap a few weeks ago and finally got it into position for its forever home under the pergola for me to tinker with and practice some old school cooking to see what I can produce. I have fond memories of my childhood with eating awesome food cooked by my nan out of the woodstove and if my food can be half as good I’ll be a happy man.

I see wood burning in there... did you convert it from oil to wood, Matt?

It was an oil stove you can still see the carburettor on the side in the first pic. It wasn’t all there but I gutted it a bit and tried it on wood and it’s great. Lots of fun.

That’s amazing. Lots of people have them here as their main heat and cooking source. Mainly oil fired but wood or coal burning ones are not uncommon.
