Made some progress this morning after work. My hunny had my phone for a bit...lol...

Getting the post set and tamped down 0608200859_HDR.jpg
All 12 post are set 0608201109a.jpg Checking the fit of the pallets. This is when I discovered I had to take the back boards off so the pallet would fit tight on the 2x6's. 0608201150_HDR.jpg Got the first wall started with 2 pallets hung. 0608201234_HDR.jpg Hope to do so more in the morning

Got a lot done by myself today, I was unsupervised...lol...ran out of screws and thunderstorm popped up. It has 8' walls. 0609201618.jpg
Saw a huge broad head skink at the back of the shed. That is a 5 gal bucket next to it... 0609201341.jpg

Man, those might be the nicest pallets I've ever seen! Are they brand new? (never used)

Broad head skink, now I would have called that a salamander. Wonderful shed! We have two fans like that, I only get benefit of them when around the calves! Looking good!

Throw away pallets. Our plant processes Kaolin clay, which is then bagged in 50 lb and 25 kg paper bags, the paper bag company ships us the bags on those pallets. Our bulk bags (750-2205lbs) come on the plastic pallets that I build bins from. 0118201234.jpg 0120201223_HDR.jpg

The skink has a dry skin like a lizard, not moist like a salamander. We have another skink here also, 5 line skink...Google Image Result for https://files.ontario.ca/environment-and-energy/species-at-risk/common-five-lined-skink-01.jpg.
Thanks for the compliment on the shed.
We have a 24" floor fan also. Heat index was 114° after lunch, dew point was about 80, only way I could keep cool.

T.Jeff Veal How do you fasten the pallets to the uprights? Do you go thru the pallet into the upright or the other way around?

I fasten 2 2x6's to the 4x4 uprights, spaced to fit in the notches on the pallets. Then drive screw thru pallet runner into 2x6. These pallets were soft pine, 2x6 was harder. If pallets are hardwood, I would drive screw from 2x6 into pallet. If you look at the right hand side of the shed, you can see the 2x6's screwed to the 4x4's.

You have to know how to stack them right, like a cedar shake roof...:sherlock:...
Wait a minute...you do a lot of roofing, come help me figure it out, I'll even cook for ya.

Hoping to use this shed for our personal use. Mixed woods, we have some soft maple, dogwood, Bradford pear that I picked up in town, have some hollow oak we can put in there.
