Reminds me of when I built my woodshed. They wanted to charge something like $365 for a permit for anything 200 square feet or more. So I made mine 8’x24’ (192 sq. Feet) Coincidently, that made it super easy to calculate how many cords of wood are in it.
Well metalcuttr the guys have loved your woodshed and stacking and you can certainly add me to that list who appreciates the fine work you have done! I like that you put fatwood every so often in the stacks. I quite often when making kindling will put it in the cribbed ends.
The kindling inserts are a great idea also. Very nice and geometric cribs. I can tell that an artful stack fills you with satisfaction also!
My Wif has bestowed some Honorary titles on me already. The College Professor part of her calls me in Latin : Hominid (Man), Lignorum (Firewood), Acumulator (to Amass, Pile or Heap Up). Hominid Lignorum Accumulator: Loosely translated from the Latin we have "Firewood Hoarding Man"! She says it is in my genes. I have checked all my pockets and find nothing but some spare change, a small washer, lint and a pocket knife! She must be wrong on that one! The Good Ole Country Girl part of her has bestowed several other Honorary Titles which I won't reveal in this venue! Besides, they are mostly not true! Genius is not one of them.
I too could tell what some of my titles are but perhaps because this is a family type forum, I'll not do so.
