I put in security cameras, my outdoor bathroom is much smaller now mainly on the west side of the barn!
Oh yeah, hickory and oak, along with a lot of the heavy hitters are super heavy when freshly cut. I wish there was a scale that was closer so I could know the actual load weights as I fill the trailer.
I got the center bay pretty much filled the other day, before the snow. I'll stuff the bay to the top with some of the box elder I have cut up with the next load I bring over.
Looks great. A lot of hard work that will payoff for years and years. Metal roofs are the best way to go. It will be interesting to see how it evolves with the little changes and tweaks you make to it. I have made dividers for bays so I can empty half a bay completely (removable 2x4s). Found this fence fabric that I use along back to limit rain/snow blowing in.
Thanks for the link! Yes, I'll make little changes, and in summer I'll paint/ stain it a brown redwood color. I'm already thinking that I'll need to add a wire to the top to keep splits in their bay.
I was thinking, what I can do to clean up the uglies that won't go in this wood shed. Right now I've got about a face cord of unseasoned uglies. I was thinking about getting 2 tote cages side by side and making a roof with the same Green sheet metal roofing. Maybe have the roof on hinges at the back so I could lift the top open to easily fill the totes? I could easily make that and make it look nice.
