    Thanks, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
    I'm really interested myself in how well it lasts. It soaked up the oil and it appears to repel water nicely for now.

    When it does need recoated, I don't believe I'll have to do any sanding, just brush on another layer.
    That was the big thing for me, I didn't want to have to sand off anything since this is rough cut lumber.
