After surgery, wife could read up close, but the over 50 thing got her, after a few years & she now has to use reading glasses.

Thanks to all. It is amazing how quick this type of procedure goes these days compared to just a few years ago.

Well, was originally supposed to have eye surgery on the 30th 0f October. Got a call @ work yesterday from the surgeons office saying they had a cancellation next Wednesday, did I want it?
Understand that up here, medical procedures are done by sitting on waiting lists of varying lengths, so I really didn't want to turn it down. Thank God I am caught up on all of the wood I currently have. Not sure how long I'll be laid up, will find out more today. PITA, but its got to be done. Always pays to stay ahead on the wood cause you never know your gonna be out of service. All part of growing old I guess.
