This was at the dump yesterday. I had a crate idea to use it as a nugget bin. Gave it to my friend. approx. 3.5 x 3.5 x 2.5'
Needs some minor repair and may beef it up a bit as the boards are on the thin side. IMG_5904.JPG

    Nice find!

Any plastic pallets to get it off the ground?

No plastic, but it'll go on either cement blocks/bricks or more than likely PT 4x4 sleepers. I built him a nice one cord bin for nuggets a couple Winters ago that he filled. We cleared a nice spot behind his shed. We'll place it next to that one. His other friend gives him random length wood and he gets lots of shorties.

Hey BRAD. I pass a place every day on my way to work and they often have pretty nice crates for the taking. If you want me to keep it on my radar for you I can do that.

Appreciate it, but after getting to wood storage I realized it wouldn't work for my needs (really limited room for one. You've seen what little room I have). Need a half cord size. I'm almost ready to give my friend the nuggets I have that need another bin. Probably enough to fill this one.

I may be interested! About what size are they? Looking for something for holding small splits; 9-12”.

Did a repair job for a contractor friend. Had to buy a 4x8 sheet of 5/8" plywood for the job and only used 1/4 of it. When I dropped it off at his place he gave it to me even though I didn't want it as I rarely use that thickness and have nowhere to store a sheet that big. "Use it for your firewood" he suggested. On my way to storage it hits me its the perfect size to cover the bin of nuggets I just filled. Couple screws to hold it on and some synthetic roofing felt stapled on and I was good to go. First for me on the job I'm doing. Tore off an EPDM rubber roof. Glued right to the wood and came off in one big sheet even though two glued together. About 23x15'. Gotta figure how I'm cutting it up as there's no way its getting moved intact. IMG_6092.JPG IMG_6091.JPG IMG_6090.JPG IMG_6086.JPG Never have used it for stack covers.

Get a big thicker carboard tube or pvc pipe and roll it up. Great score. I've been using it pretty much since day one. My dad gave me a bunch.

I have a 12' long cardboard tube here for her grand daughter to play with that will work. Problem is the bad side has lots of glue and wood splitters stuck to it. It was kinda like peeling a gigantic label off.

    Thats for the tip.

Cool that peeled off so well. Have you seen the prices on decent tarps?

Cut it into three strips about 5' wide. Have a couple long double row stacks that need a cover. Thinking of using it on my triple row locust stack as well. IMG_6104.JPG
