Scored four more sheets of Ondura roofing at Lowe's yesterday. Slight damage. $5 each and normally $20ish each. One finished off a nugget bin cover. The other three replaced some metal and osb. The 6'6" length worked perfect as the row is 6' wide. I check for damaged ones as im in there often. IMG_3124.JPG IMG_3125.JPG IMG_3126.JPG

More top covering fodder. Demoed a pool today and saved the liner and steel sides for such. That roll of steel was HEAVY. If my calculations were correct its 75' long. I didnt measure. IMG_3138.JPG IMG_3139.JPG IMG_3140.JPG

I thought the same thing. Be a darn big one as i think it was at least a 24" pool. Maybe the Connecticut crew can make one at the GTG? Got enough splits Joe? :stacker:

2x4's & 2x6's from a couple pallets at Lowes. Utilized in my current shed build. IMG_3205.JPG IMG_3209.JPG Couple 6' T- posts found in a bunch of junk. Dump run today for a customer. IMG_3221.JPG They are old and heavy. Not like the ones today.

More free wood related stuff. Old cast iron sash weights for weighting down a tarp. These to be given to the OP next time i see him. Got a dozen of them. 5 lbs each. Normally these get scrapped. IMG_3328.JPG 24' round tarp from a pool cover. I took down the pool a month ago and the guy decided he didnt want the top cover either. Never owned a round tarp. Decent condition. Folded and tossed it over a stack. IMG_3337.JPG
Lumber score. Across the street from a job i did recently a lady was cleaning out a vacant house for selling. Dumpster in driveway and free stuff being put out front. Opportunity knocked and i answered. She offered me free stuff and it didnt take much twisting of my arm. Lots of assorted boards and lumber in the garage. All dry, dirty, dusty and looking like they go back to the Nixon administration (one 2x4 was crooked ).

10' PT 4x4, 8' PT 2x6, thirteen 8' 2x4's, three 8' 2x8's, 8' 2x12, some T&G fir and a bunch of 5/4 pine boards. 2x4's used today on my shed build. Not sure what else will be used for firewood storage, but hard to beat the price. IMG_3338.JPG IMG_3339.JPG IMG_3340.JPG

The man had his issues, obviously.

It was on his watch that the US got out of Vietnam.

That pool cover would be perfect for a GIANT holzhausen!

Edit: oh man I just saw that Joe made that same joke a month ago. C’mon Jiminy—you’re better than that!
