    Shingles you replace much too often. Steel, not a problem. Not sure about the painted on how long before one would have to repaint but galvanized lasts and lasts and lasts.

    6 years now and no problems. I bought 20 IBC tote cages a couple years ago to store the wood in, under the roof. I hate stacking.
