Wood ID, Please

    Hm then I’m wondering if the genus species are different. The densities don’t seem to be, based on what I had picked up isn’t white as explained. Suppose the bush variety is yellowish? I noticed mine have taken on a weird green bluish tinge after having split a few. Been under a little bit of rain too. At this point it’s purely educational.

    After seeing the splits I don’t think it’s hackberry. Hackberry is really white when it’s split also.

    I've got Hackberry before that looks exactly like that. Some are wartier than others, some even predominantly plated and ridged instead of warted. I've also seen the inside colored like that before.
