I'll have to look for these. I just made a quick trip to HD yesterday afternoon mostly for some silicone for re assembly. Thanks, this way I can paint it installed and maybe even warmed up. Bob iirc I checked or saw the price somewhere a you better be sitting down. Not that it's a simple thing to fabricate, but even for a "small run" production type situation for after the sale existing customers... For their defense, there are about 14 individual pieces and most of them are either rolled, machined, folded/bent and require some clever jigs for welding. Like this! I can see where if there's a "next time", I'll be needing a new one myself.

I'm not sure if this is worth the $50 POR - 16 oz stuff as it's not really in a rusty environment. I have rustoleum in my "cart" and just need order it. I didn't see it at HD yesterday other than spray. Of course now the Rustoleum section is about 3 sections long with a bunch of decorator colors, hammered chit and who knows what else and I could have missed it.
Ha! Look what this dumb jazz found in the paint cabinet Not sure what that 4300 system is, but it was only $5 at a salvage type outlet.
Wood Gun ash pan cleaned out thoroughly and all the tubes in boiler cleaned as well. It needed it. It has been cruising through some firewood lately!
Just cleaned out the chimney cap and pulled the clean out plug at the bottom. Reached in through level spot through wall with tool and cleaned that flat section out that goes inside house. Probably got about 6-7 cups of ash out of the entire chimney/exhaust pipe out of boiler.
That's not bad. Due to the 10' plus horizontal pipe I have that then connects to the chimney with a 90 degree elbow I get a lot of ash at clean up. I clean the bottom of that elbow on the 1st day of each month(probably overkill) to avoid a possible cut off of draft.
Short burns for now. Heat up boiler and buffer tank. Then shut it down. Repeat when necessary to keep oil from even thinking of turning on.
I removed the new accessory. Would rather have the room in the firebox for wood. Was not happy with its performance. Too bad. That was expensive. Don’t know if Alternate Heating Systems will refund a portion of it or not. I then got rid of that flexible slinky crap and replaced the air intake pipe with solid and rerouted the exhaust fan better. Seems are now taped as well. Much better.
Wood Gun ash pan cleaned out, and all the tubes in the boiler cleaned as well. I’m going to make a couple of adjustments on the doors and clean chimney cap tomorrow.
