I was watching some reality show about "hillbillies" tonight and they were making a gasifer system to run a generator. Got me thinking about an article I read, some years back, about a similar system used to run a pick-up using wood heat. I happened to have the article in an old copy of "the Mother Earth News" from May/June 1981. Great idea, but fear the EPA would clamp down on something like this in the present. This gasifier stuff is way beyond me. I know there is a bunch of stuff on youtube with using gasifiers to power all sorts of machinery. I cook. That is my level.
