If that 12 inch wood doesn't work for you, send it my way. I cut all my wood at 12 inches. Stove doesn't take wood much longer than that.
oops I knew that.. but you just don't act or talk lije the representative I see from Jersey.. to be clear that's a compliment!
I would be thrilled to get 12 inch lengths. That is the "desired" length for my stove for a N/S loading pattern. For an E/W load the desired length is 16 inches. (Yes it is a small stove)
I'm a 16" guy! Thats the "perfect" size for the old Fisher, but as I said, I'm not to picky. BTU's is BTU's
Crappy, foggy day but I got about half of it processed. , My back is killing me! The little 20 ton splitter came through :stacke:
Up here.. normal year 5 to 6 cord.. cold year 10 plus a cord being 128 cubic feet.. England's a beautiful country with ton of history.. I was just surprised when I went there there were palm trees on the south shore!
Just a question but how do the neighbors regard you as you seem to be the only show in town....(I know the feeling)
Yep, it's crazy to think that at our latitude snow in winter (where i live in the South West) is a rarity: thanks to the North Atlantic Drift. At sea level around here 6 inches of snow is an almost once in a generation event!! Typical winter days are about 6 to 8 degrees C and murky / wet so we burn from Nov through to April. I reckon 6-8 cubic metres does the job for me
