Has anyone ever used a liner from a pool to cover their stacks? A friend of mine has one but just was curious about it, i think it might hoold up well what are your thoughts
Had this come up in the summer but no way to transport it home! Massive rolls though. 8-10 feet wide and about 75 feet.
If I had it, and didn't mind a bright color, then I'd use it. Should cover your vault just right, with some trimming.
So. What would you do? Would you cut it to correct width so you could cover top of stacks and just a little ways down? Allow for air flow.
I came across billboard sign tarps that were 14x44 for $25 each. I'm giving one a shot to see how it does. I cut it in half and have it doubled up over my pile to burn for this year. It might get a bit rigid and hard to finagle around once it gets real cold outside though. I would think its similar to pool liner. We'll see how it does.
I have looked for them to use for covering stacks, every time I find cheap used one they get snatched up before I can get em . I think they would work good , just cut em to size ya need
I've wanted to try a pool wall, just on top and also as roof material. I had one but can't remember what I did with it. I recall rolling it up, putting a band around it. Rolling it because it was a lot heavier than I expected but not where I put it. People give away an above ground pool every now and then but I never have the time at the time to go and disassemble one again.
I've not used any but wood not hesitate to use them. I'm also sure others on this forum have used them but can't say who.
