Well been a crazy year so far.. lost my Dad IMG_1820.jpeg

I’m not sad because he’s out of pain and back with the love of his life.. My mom passed in 08 and he waited 16 years to be with her again..

Then we lost wife holland lop bunny and then her German Shepherd Lady.. Shepherd would pick up rabbit and put him in his cage BUT never hurt him IMG_0426.jpeg
Older pic but she was at least 15 she was a rescue 80-85 # female not fat.. had to be around at splitter to save protect us from partridge and unforeseen threats.

we then pulled almost 6 cord of dry wood and brought up to leanto behind garaged, this weekend IMG_2159.jpeg
About 1/2 way forgot beginning pic.. it’s about 18x8x6 so good for 1 real winter or almost 2 of last few.. IMG_2160.jpeg

We stop working here in the north, at 81 degrees in the sun..

Brother Weed wacked around splitter and wood pile getting ready for splitting session. And replaced few pallets on ground.. get more pics later..
ohh on Memorial Day rented Harley rake and grass seeded new section, grass driveway to processing area and a few trails.. I will brush hog them this fall and re seed where necessary IMG_1883.jpeg

    the above area

I thought that would make you :D T.Jeff Veal seriously we started at 7 am and 62* I voted for 6 AM but it is Sunday.
:shiver: In my house in winter.. No Way!! outside probably.
Before my woodstove; thermostats were set to 55 ! Come to think of it, they still are but living room is 75 minimum
Now I still use a cane. So cane in 1 hand and weed wacker in other leaves me short a hand for wiping sweat out of my eyes. Plus killing deer flies and what ever those black flies are with white heads 3x size of deer flies.
Thankfully my daughter came out an helped by 9:30 which is morning for a teenager :picard:

I knew you would agree! Over 80 degrees lake or AC weather!!

20 degrees is fine if your moving; plus less bugs.. very few mosquitoes in middle of a big lake

No therapy quite like being outside, doing a project, and thinking of those you’ve lost. Looks like you’ve been getting a fair amount done:salute:

So I was using Kubota to lift big ones on my little splitter; with eye bolt to chain. Bucket lifts them split one piece about 50 splits. Fill bucket stack it about hour a day. Slow but moving forward now snow and ice gone…

one of service men, that was deployed I gave some to his mother years ago.. stopped by and caught me..
    I was struggling..

he showed up today with this IMG_2417.jpeg
    IMG_2417.jpeg IMG_2420.jpeg

So we did four truck loads fast

That's great, Lyle. Nice to see your favor returning home. That log lift sure makes a difference.
