Thank you, sir. Yep, I'm blessed with a wife that loves helping me do thangs...she said it's so much better than working at Walmart, where she spent 14 1/2 yrs. And we are blessed with plenty of wood. When we give some away, it always comes back more. GOD provides.

I get that, but I'll tell ya, my now 18 yr old son has been helping me the last few years. Now that he has bigger and better things to do I'm starting to miss those times. They are becoming few and far between.

In my neck of the woods, that very well could be considered a declaration of war! o_O
(we've been using our Dyson for over 10 years. It's been flawless, but wasn't a gift, lol)

Mine must have fought for the other side. Even though she is from not far from you, She grew up just south of Quakertown. She must be a copperhead. Funny thing last night, after work, I was bucking a few logs down to rounds, and had just started splitting, guess who showed up to help split, MOM to the rescue. I had brought 3 pickup loads of rounds home, after work last week, we got the pile I bucked and the loads all split and thrown in a pile....I have me a keeper.

IMG_20181229_145938.jpg IMG_20181229_145934.jpg had my beautiful wife Sara out helping stack the black walnut on the new skids I brouht home. She will help with just about anything if I ask had her running the chainsaw not long after this pic. Built some sides up on the skid pounded them into the ground attached the tarp so it won't blow off I like it have one more skid to fill up doing that today.

My wife always helped until we had kids. We have a 3 month old and 3.5 old. She says she looks forward to helping in time. She is for sure my better half and I look forward to firewood being a family thing.

Man there is no other feeling than the whole family chipping in on it. My wife had never lived with a stove before neither had our 2 boys they all love it especially her. I love when my son helps me we r out alone we talk I teach him things he teaches me things it's just a great way to bring the family together and get out of the house.

My wife likes moving and stacking firewood. She is also good at "helping" me determine when to add more wood to the stove...whether it needs it or not!

Yesterday we made up to -36, I went out to split some wood. Mom showed up a few minutes later to give a hand. We split for 2 hours, good family time. 1F0D5FB0-6DF8-46B1-8D4B-ADB4F1455A2B.png 22A9DE72-1E96-4E50-A726-D82075D92538.jpeg 1A9CABE7-B2E1-4825-958B-FF54E75631CB.jpeg 586D7885-A1F6-4374-AB1A-AE6633463484.jpeg 21985A45-9FB1-471E-AC6F-0E65E43E05E6.jpeg 33416696-66F4-4664-AFBB-C7261EE4891A.jpeg

No, I grabbed the first pair I found. Mom was wearing them, we have a few pairs. When I am at the house, I could care less what I use. When I go to the woods, I have the buffalo. Funny that you brought this up, my last trip in the woods a few days ago, I wore a hole in one of the fingertips. It is a pair from last season (1 1/2 seasons for that pair) Mom ordered me 2 pairs the other day.

Here are a couple of my wife helping me.
Whenever we can we like to get firewood together.
Sometimes I have to sweet talk her. But generally she likes getting out in the brush with me.

Cold Trigger Finger...couple questions. What kind of pickup is that? And, What is your wife's side arm? Assuming this is an important consideration in your bear country. Looks like a Glock.
