My toyota highlander doesnt lock up for several miles if its even in the 40s.

    Where Augie?

I work in a few areas with deep "sugar sand" as we call it. Its that white sand they sell for play sand or for motor. This is in the sand hills in the state. Takes 4wd and wheel spin. I burn 2x the fuel when off road in the sand chasing logger around the dirt roads out there.

I notice the winter blend here stinks .
The gas I got recently does anyway.
I got excited at $3.47/gallon & filled all my 5 gallon jugs.

Like to go into winter with a few full jugs of fuel
might need the gen set & be a little prepped if the "big one" hits.

    Don't get me going
We have the oil & refineries & a low gasoline tax
& are the 2nd highest price in the US.

Hawaii has no oil, everything is shipped in & only 10¢ more per gallon :headbang:

I can't figure that one out? I didnt realize y'all had refineries up there. Call me stupid but I thought it all was piped to washington or something?

There is a major pipeline so I have been told that runs 75miles from hear headed to the NE that comes from the gulf thats why we have some of the lowest prices in the nation so I have been told.

Tanker fill up in Valdez , take the oil to the West coast.
    No pipeline from Alaska.
Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) , 800 mile , 48" pipeline from the North (Prudhoe Bay ) to
    Valdez, Alaska.
    Most is above ground
