I’ve got this Hamon HI 300 and between sealing against the door and sealing from the back with the keeper bar it seems like there’s barely enough. And for our installation I can’t take the door off to do it on the bench because of an oversized surround, unless walk the stove out, etc, etc.
So I’m looking for a wide window gasket.

The gasket is just temp fit in the pic while I find a replacement.

Man, I wish I could remember where I got the one I have waiting to be put on. They never seem wide enough for my liking.
    Might have been Englander.
Check this one.....1" X 7'. Might seem pricey, but glass gaskets don't usually need changing very often.

What happens to the old gasket ? It crumbles/disintegrates and falls out ?

Only stove with a window in it is only 5 years old. Just wondering what to watch for besides wood burning up awful quick.

Creates gaps. The keeper bar is snug fit to all for some walking during the cycling. Changing the door gasket I noticed that glass gasket had favored one side of the glass in few places. With the gasket so thin, the margin isn’t there ensure a good mating surface on both sides.

Family run garden and stove store down the road carries the 1”. Had to wait until yesterday for it to get out on the floor.
    $2.32/ft I think. Nitto No.597
That turns out to be just the plastic peel away backing. No info on the gasket itself.
