So good to see this impromptu gtg and see the faces of the usual suspects. Glad you'all took a "normal" group shot...I got scared there for a minute.

Yes I second Backwoods Savage , I hope WeldrDave is not going to turn his property into the dust bowl 2.o...I mean there has to be a few trees he likes...haha. Love that makeshift grill and the meat looks delicious! I really hope you won't be missing New Jersey too much....Said no one ever

buZZsaw BRAD I'm jealous that you can still sport a ponytail. I used to have one just like that before I started going bald ....At age 22! Great signs by the way...A true artist so the ponytail is fitting, but you may want to add a beret to complete the artist' ensemble.

Bummer on the window surprise Mwalsh9152 . I've had similar things happen after driving and logs shifting especially on country bumpkin roads. I try not to max out on cargo for that reason. Maybe it's possible to Jerry-rig it with a plexi-glass replacement?

Midwinter thanks for documenting and pointing me here. Everyone's take away wood looks so clean cut and straight grained. Great butchering skills and sharp chains for sure!

I decided to make a "surprise" appearance by not letting anyone know. Couple hour ride for me. Great place Dave and Chrissy have. I arrived a bit late for any saw action. Truck gets lousy gas mileage and i wouldve filled her up with wood and taken my

Oh good, a shot of the cookies exist after all! Mmmm...there's butter in that cookie batter I can tell, bet they're crisp and melt in your mouth like a crispy creme doughnut.

    Molly ALWAYS brings excellent cookies!

BTW WeldrDave , let your lovely wife know that I always enjoy talking with her. Although I like moving wood and cleaning up limbs out of the trails to said wood, being a Pellet Pig instead of a Wood Hoarder, I sometimes get lost in some of the discussions going on and it is nice to discuss other (read: normal :D) things with her.

Aww, if anyone deserved cookies you did! Sorry you missed out. And many thanks for diagnosing my saw!
Yes, Chrissy provides a haven of normality for the non-wood obsessed. We are an intense lot. Thanks Chrissy for helping to throw us a party!
