Thanks for the pictures it looks like a good time was had by all. Looks like more meat on the grill than attendees. Now if I were to decide to come for one could I stop by the gas station in Winchester and ask where Dave's place is.
Just keep 'im away from the saws and axes... WeldrDave might stand a chance of building on something besides a prairie!
Great pics Molls! Another excellent day of awesome FHC members meeting up, helping & hanging out, sharing grub, firewood and fun! The real spirit of America shines on the faces of FHC folks! Outstanding! And fantastic passing of the FHC sign to buZZsaw BRAD Can’t wait to see it hanging in CT
A big thanks go out to Midwinter for being true to her word. Great pics. Are you sure it is legal for all those guys and gals to have that much fun and get a bunch of work done at the same time?
Looks like a great time everyone. FHC GTG are alway's a good time. I got to spend 5 hours in the attic today. Portable AC was not keeping up. The room temp only registered to 99 degrees. It was a bit over that. I would have rather been up with you folks, but summer is marching on...
It was a good time! Weather was perfect, especially when a breeze came across the hill. WeldrDave and Chrissy were perfect hosts on there beautiful property in a super nice area. Meeting most of the others for first time was a treat for me.
M2theB was the "saw whisperer", du jour, today. My husky 445 had been giving me problems starting, the other day. I brought in the event that I could get some tips. Well, all he had to do was look at the sweet when I tried starting it. It started. Molly's Stihl 250, was acting up, not starting. Once the whisperer got his hands on it, and a bunch of pulls later, it fired up. 2 for 2!
Well, it started as a great day! I got home, went to pull my rear window down (power by armstrong) and it shattered. I then got to spend an hour vacuuming glass out of the Bronco, off the wood, and then for added fun, vacuuming the grass in the back yard so my youngest that doesnt like to wear shoes doesnt get cut. Now, time to decide if I should burn the damm thing, or get a new tailgate / window.
Thanks for sharing the day with us all. Great pics Midwinter A big shoutout of congrats to buZZsaw BRAD a truly worthy recipient of the sign. Hope everyone's travels are safe and enjoyable
