Will you have a white Christmas?

Had some more white Christmas show up over night. Just a dusting 1"

 

I've got a nice fire going, got 2-3 weeks supply of wood on the back porch, got about a days worth inside, wife is happy, Buddy is happy, the former child is happy and life is good. Then I just heard the weather forecast for Christmas---71°!!! I won't even have a fire and the only snow I'll see is going across the screen right now. Life can be cruel.

 

well here is a pic... kids off today 3 sleds running and over 10 gallon of gas used so far... pretty sure they are



the good news is before the winds pick up the whole yard will be packed

Growing up took awhile for us to run through 10 gal!

 

380 s will go 6 hours that's the little sled smallest kids use.... the 583 and 600 use a little more about half mile oval.. it took them 8 to 1 is not bad...

I wish you could still get the smaller sleds I think 600cc is smallest now...

 

Its 22f/-6c and its been snowing for days and is currently coming down moderate/heavy. We havent been getting massive dumps this week but 6-8 inches daily so its starting to add up. High pressure and cooler weather coming after tomorrow.

 

We will have some but it's melting fast today. Tomorrow is around freezing and Monday is a major meltdown . By Tuesday I bet most will be gone . Amazing considering we got around 30" in the last few weeks.

Its not here yet and I hope the 12-18 inches forecast for me is a no show!

 

You know I really should check to see if anyone else has a thread going on about a subject like, oh, say, "whose gonna have a White Christmas". Before I start a thread of my own. So I am surprised no said on my thread, Um, someone already did that. Thanks guys/gals, and whether your Christmas is white or brown, it doesn't change what the true meaning of Christmas is. The state has basically been shut down for a day. I got 12 inches and just sw of me got 18. ND will reopen in June. As of right now we are already on pace for the 4th most snow fall in the recorded weather history of the state.
