I recently saw the crash test results of all the new trucks. Ford led the way as the most safe. Plus all those dire predictions of the aluminum exterior haven't proved to be true. I like the looks of the Toyota, but they sure cost a lot. Good luck. Get the one you like. You will be the one who has to $$$$Pay$$$$ for it.

I know, I'm just going off of what my buddy said, but I can't find that deal.

Because I'm really serious if i could get one at that price.

GM was the main detractor with its stupid shark/ bear cage commercials regarding the alloy f150 vs the steel GM's.

The funniest thing is that the next generation GM full-size trucks are going alloy bodies in a few short years. Yet they still ran that ad campaign. Were they hoping to "steel" sales from Ford? Then hope people would forget about the anti alloy ads they ran 2 years before the alloy gm's arrived?

We have always bought Toyota for our main vehicles but I was wondering what the price difference between a new Ford truck F150 and a new Tacoma would be?

Well, a Tacoma is a smaller truck than a f150.

The tundra is f150 sized, and is priced competitively with the Ford.

If they make them like this, I want one of these when they come out.

[IMG][IMG] But then I would be missing the truck bed. :picard:

They still sell vehicles with real spares? I can't imagine a donut with a sensor and I know some vehicles don't even come with that anymore.

Don't trucks have full sized spares? Or was your question directed at cars?

Holy cow, you can't hardly get the cheapest Focus for that around here. What kind of tax you guys pay? Might be worth it for me to fly out and drive back if I am ever in the search for a new vehicle!

May be a bait and switch dealer.

There is a dealer in Duluth Mn that is notorious for that! It'll have TV ads pounding low prices for full sized f-150 4wd and when you call them they ask what truck is it?
    The one on the ad.
    What is the stock #?
    I don't know.
What can you tell me about the truck so I know which one it is?
It's the one on the TV ad....how can I tell you about it when I called you to tell me about it?

Never did get a direct answer.
