    I'll have to do some digging to find one. Haven't taken any newer pics in quite a while. I have a pile yet to process that's almost as big as my processed stacks!! :picard:

    Yup - a hot wood stove feels good after dealing with overnight snow.

    And yes - also a good place to let things dry off.

    Yeah he’s got another year or so at least I’m thinking...
    The dogs are funny too, the closer the better. I always wondered if mine were smart enough to move before they got burned :picard:

    I sometimes sit in my unfinished basement like CHeath near the stove and browse the webs or read a book.
    One of the many reasons I do it is the love of the outdoors. Being in the woods collecting warmth is very enjoyable to me. Heating my family for “free” is a bonus.

    For sure wood heat is the best. Yesterday I remember having to stop for gas on the way home. I got chilled to the bone. Boy, that really felt nice walking into a wood heated home though when we got back. Inside temperature was 78...so I put more wood in the stove before it dropped more. :D

    :rofl: :lol:I’d need some serious :dennis: I seem to have a 75 degree limit myself if it creeps up near 75 everyone in the house knows it I get cranky:mad: You are definitely right about the wood heat nothing better than that after 20+ hours in the wet and cold!:fire:

    75 is a lot better than 70 but I like sitting in the house without having to wear the outdoors shirts. I do wear a t-shirt on top but no other shirt. But in the summer, I'm not as happy with 80 or more degrees in the house...

    Well said. There is nothing I can add to that except for I’m down here right now. Loaded it up at 8 and just came home for lunch (I’m 2 min from the office) and load it back up. Waiting for it to settle in and I’ll head back to work.

    That's my lab enjoying the heat, she'd rather be out hunting birds, but when there's no birds to hunt might as well be comfortable. Didn't realize my daughter's rat dog was enjoying some stove and body heat. KIMG0061.jpg

    I love all the other pictures too but this caught my eye in particular.
