Why some people shouldn't own a chain saw

Yup, that is by far my favourite. Hollywood couldn't choreografe that any better. Hall of fame stuff right there.

 

I laughed when I noticed how angry his saw was (low rakers!) as I've done that a time or two.

I don't have any trees that big here, but wouldn't he have been better served to cut straight across, then drop the bar on the far side to cut the 8,9,10,11,12 o clock, then put the saw horizontal again and keep on trucking? If that makes sense?

 

I would of overbucked it if it were me. Meaning reach over top of log lay the powerhead on top of log and cut back ito the far side bar pointing toward ground then follow cut barck around so saw is horizontal and cut down.
