    day off work yesterday. went to the bank took out a heap of money.got home wraped up presents for the young grand kids. then put money in cards for the big ones.and still not finised bit more to do then all done.how much more have you got to do.

    My wife says we are getting close, I'll take her word on it. Theres been lots of packages arriving, so it must be true.

    She handles the kids and her family, I buy for my parents, and get my sisters gift cards. Works for me

    I can’t think of anything to get my wife! We probably will put up the tree in 2 weeks. I like to keep the tree up after Christmas for a week or so. We’ve had a ton of snow here so that helps the spirit.

    My wife and I stopped buying for each other. It saved a TON of grief on her end. I can always think of things to buy her, but it was always a struggle for her. If I want something, I buy it. Ask me what I want, and I'll tell ya I dont know.

    What I dislike is when people buy me stuff because they feel obligated and then I end up with stuff I don’t want. My wife tends to to that.

    I'm ready. But no tree up yet. Not sure if wife wants one or not. Things changed a lot here once the kids left home. And they are so far away it is just the two of us on Holidays.

    If a birthday or anniversary is coming up and either my wife or I say we would like something, we buy what we want and call that our present. For years I always told my boys they could get me a gallon of bar oil and I would be happy. They get off cheap and I get what I want.

    My old man is workin on a christmas treefarm, he'll get the tree proably bring it along a few days before.

    My wife and I had Christmas in October, a week in Iceland.

    We will travel to Columbia County, NY soon to be with my wife's family for Christmas. There is a clothing store in Chatham where I'll get my wife a couple of things. She is a different lady, she hates to shop! I buy almost all her clothes.

    My family is all gone several years now.

    Tree went up here last Sunday. I have bought one gift for my son I saw on sale the other day. Besides that we all have some shopping to do. Three kids (11, 14, 14) and my wife and I.
