Went to a gun show today and one of the vendors was talking about this storm dropping some 12' in Washington? And somewhere else, I haven't heard alot about this storm until today. Not much I can prep for, I have enough firewood on my patio stack alone. Y'all stay warm!

Not sure what our final forecast is now , haven't really heard anything new since last night and that was a rollercoaster of predictions.

I just finished prep ; sprayed the snow shovel with lemon pledge so it's nice and " slippie".

    Ready for action!

Got about 3" of snow. Now it's some sort of rain/ sleet mix. I went to work in the morning. Came home and putzed around a little bit. Found soke ambition and started to take the yamaha kodiac apart to getbready for the new starter, which was delivered. Of course it took longer than planned, but it's working.

we also have a tremendous amount of people living not ready for anything. It's all about now, no worries or thought for later. 'Somebody" will come and help. No need to take much responsibility or plan for the future.
I stopped at Big Why (chain grocer here) and they said it had been pre-storm nuts. I guess folks just wait till the last minute...

I wanted French toast this morning, but as luck would have it, no vanilla to be found. So I had oatmeal and cranberries.
A snowstorm is moving in. The forecast keeps getting more and more, coming in off the ocean which is how we get hammered. I don't go out until it is all cleaned up and things have calmed down.

    great pics Scotty!
Congrats on your son making tracks!
SCA Jr. pleased both of us when his school performance generally exceeded ours.
The apple blessedly rolled pretty far from this tree.

Nice pictures Scotty , Very nice place you have there. Your patio , stacks ; just everything about it shows the time and effort you put into it. A place to be proud of.

Now our snow ; looks like a couple inches is it. Enough to make a mess and that's about it.

EDIT: Just took the dogs out and it is a wet 2 inches of a slushy mess , drizzle now. They are calling for maybe a little more but I am not sure about that not really that cold out. Thermometer says 34 .

Got lucky and they called yesterday at 10AM….$63 and it’s running again! Bad fuel and crud in the shut off valve. I figure I must have flooded the heck out of it trying to start it Friday.
