Update: Stove is burning beautifully - had to increase combustion blower RPM by 400 as the temps. are dropping here to keep the burn pot clean / burn rate consistent.

In honor of Francesca's excellent performance today, and because the Boss has been humming this tune all day, tonight's theme is the Trammp's song: "Disco Inferno".

( Sorry Guys. Really. I didn't pick it.. But now she's got me singing along w/ her, Oh Boy..  )

    :pete:

I did! (No, not really, only if you consider steel-toed hiking boots "platform" shoes. :D)

I still sucked at dancing though.  Red platform shoes - way to Rock those shoes will!

Francesca is smoking this evening! Burning the La Cretes tonight, she's getting the Hot Stuff!

In honor of these -Excellent- burning La Cretes, (and will's Red platform shoes), tonight's theme is the Donna Summer song "Hot Stuff".

    Go get 'em will!

Low twenties last night had the stove on high and feed gate about 80 % open but was tempted to go wide open would that be possible with the Classic Bay 1200 or am I just wasting fuel ? I also added a couple of floor grates so the heat can rise in a couple of key areas .

We have been in a dry east wind pattern here with lows in the 20's F and highs in the 40 F range the past few days.

Big Whit running around the clock and the Little Whit fired up at night to help.

Ripped into the Big Whit yesterday afternoon and did a good deep cleaning, as it has not been cleaned completely in a month.
Every week the fire box gets mucked out, but the baffles were full and the entire unit needed a visit from the leaf blower :D

Ahhhh yess, and lets not forget the vent brush too, oooooh, feels soooo good.

Having the big boy offline for about 2 hours to cool and clean really drops the temps in the shack for sure.

The little stove shoulders on, but it can't even keep up when it's cold.

All better now and both are doing their thing this morning at O DARK THIRTY

Rain forecast to return later today and through the week along with Warmer temps

    Just another winter day.
