Helped my neighbor remove the blades from his mower up in VT. The DeWalt 1/2” impact made the removal really easy.

Our ramp system that could have ended up in a “whoops”…but thankfully didn’t. My wife: “You actually got under that?”

    Holy crap :bug:

Talk about getting your money's worth out of a set of blades.
Next time he cuts the grass it will take less time since the new blades will be a little longer.

I don’t think he’s taken those off since he’s had the tractor. I want to say that tractor is a good 12+ years old. Granted, it’s a weekend property and he’s not up every weekend. But still, they are well used!

I'll jump in here. Didn't see the stump on the way out from cutting this morning. Didn't touch the truck luckily. 20230611_113127.jpg

What’s the best way to get these broken bolts out?

I'd weld nuts on...or sometimes on small bolts, or stuff that is hard to get to, welding a flat washer on, then a nut works better.

Is there any issue using that method removing a steel bolt from an aluminum case? Just thinking that the melting point of aluminum is much lower. Thanks
