You might be able to get HD down to $250 on the 6xxx saw. I have a pair of 7900, 6400, and a Dolita 64xx - good saws _ but I go back along way on Dolmars, like the 116si and a 112 that still see the light of day every so often.

I will do just that. As a Buyer for my profession, I'd be remiss not to. To hear they went down $40 for you that's a good precedent.

I do have to say the dolkita is one perty looking piece of equipment. So if all things else are equal, there is that.

Thanks for all the advice guys!

It's my birthday on Wednesday, and seeing that we scrapped our trip to Mexico, where we would've been leaving today, me getting a newer bigger saw is a gooder present. I wasn't able to pull the trigger on a similar dolkita 6421 a month or so ago, so given the situation, this did be a no brainier.

With all my tree service wood in my driveway, my wife finally understood why I say I needed a bigger saw. She never saw me cutting big logs before. The other weekend as I was working on a half round of elm that was close to 30" I noticed my wife was watching me as I cut.

Ahhhh. The light bulb went on!:salute::yes:

Well technically, if you can find a crank and jug, the 81cc option is the best. ;)

Once you go Dolmar you never go back. All I've ever owned. 112 115i 6400 6410 7900 and the only one that is worn out is the 112. That dolkita will run a 24" bar all day without any hesitation.

I was in Singapore for nearly 2 weeks recently. VERY tempting to slip across the border into Malaysia and see about shipping some Echo CS1201's back.

If hope you have as good of an experience with Dolmars as I have. I would love to find a deal like that as well.

    Here's a better pic. IMG_20170308_222456565.jpg

I picked it up this am on the way in to work.

Luckily I stopped then, as they both would have been sold to a guy before I could've stopped in after work. I had my choice between the last 2) HD rental 6421's in my area of the state. The manager said he had both of the saws sold to a guy tonight. With the crazy, near hurricane force winds we had today, there were tons of downed trees and branches all over SE Wisconsin. The local news channels had said that people were buying chainsaws in droves to clean up all of this mess.

It was first put into service 1/28/15.

Dang that thing looks brand new! You could tell mine was a rental when I bought it with all the scuffs and scratches. Then I went and backed over the handle the first time I used mine, turning it into a Frankensaw! I'm jealous!
