I've always lived in this area. As such, I look forward to the the change of seasons, and what each season brings. Bring retired makes the snowy/icy days less of an issue than those needing to be on the roads. I live on a bit of hill. Not having any heavy equipment, mud season isn't much of a concern. Seasons with vampires(black flies/mosquitoes) and dewpoints above 60, are not as much fun. Right now. I'm sipping coffee, watching the light snow falling, listening to music, enjoying the heat of my stove. 2 of those things. I don't do during vampire season.
I’m enjoying some cold and snow. Havent had much of either for the last few years. Winters ok in my book. Almost wish I didn’t sell the sled
Exactly 4 weeks until Spring is officially here, unless you go by the seasons beginning at the first of the month. Then it is only 9 more days! I suppose it depends on where you live, or at least how far south you are. I remember one time one of my wife's neices wanted to come for a visit over Memorial weekend and also bring a friend. They were celebrating being seniors and soon out of school. Did I mind if 2 young good looking lasses wanted to come for a visit? After all, we lived on the shore of a beautiful lake. Could they go swimming? Of course? Will the water be warm? Well, it depends upon your version of warm... The ice did go out just 4 weeks ago though.
