    I'm a big fan of WWW.InkJetSuperstore.com. I buy my ink in bulk from them, save a ton of money and make sure that I order before I run out. Buying from a retail store after you've run out is a sure way to pay WAY too much.

    For those who haven't seen the movie "Office Space", the youtube clip above is an excerpt. Great movie!!. Great story line..:thumbs:

    Years ago I was an Epson fan as you could get aftermarket ink inexpensively until I decided to buy an Epson all-in-one. I couldn't find aftermarket ink anywhere so I called 123inkjets.com and they explained that Epson was suing everyone that sold aftermarket inks. I asked what is the best printer to get for cheap inks and was told Brother was the way to go. Now I am on my 2nd Brother all-in-one and it works great! This one even has wireless-N plus does duplex printing automatically and I paid under $60.00! I don't use the fax but do a little scanning.

    Depends on your needs, but if you are like most, any all in one will do. So just check in with a place like staples. Often they will sell discontinued models for about $50. Remember many printers come with "starter ink". That is the cartridges only are partially filled. With Black Friday sales, you ought to be able to get one at rock bottom prices. When you do find one, go online and order you ink. Another hint. Don't buy the lightest weight paper. That catches up in the printer too easily.

    Bought this paper 3 printers ago, and haven't had an issue with it. #4 printer in my wife's sewing room uses it well also.
    It's not the paper.:mad::rofl: :lol: Must be the wood.:rofl: :lol:
    Yeah, can't really expect full ink when getting a $50 or less printer. Heck, even some of the higher end HP's I've bought have had "starter" cartridges.
    Been getting ink from LD for many years.
    I've just never had a Brother printer and don't like the washed out look of the Lesmark (that was purposeful) prints.
    We don't print much anymore.

    I don't care for Lexmark either. Even the store clerks agree they are not popular. People grab them up on the shop at home networks for the low price and spread out payments.
    I like printers that have dedicated ink colors. Easy enough to read reviews for any of these.

    Reviews are often paid for, but you can go to some sites that are fairly honest. I have seen some reviews that were very bad, But you get a feel for a general trend when you read enough of them.

    I got a deal at Staples on the MFC-J470DW ( http://www.staples.com/Brother-MFC-J470dw-Color-Inkjet-All-in-One-Printer/product_56064 ) and paid under $60.00 during the back to school sales.. If anyone needs them I have cartridges from my old Brother printer LC61 type cartridges, 2-black, 2 red, 2-blue and 1-yellow..
