Not trying to defend them , but I think they want you to know that it's not the yum yum logs as I call them compressed cardboard or sawdust logs you toss in the fire place and hope you're gonna get lucky on that Bear Rug

Kinda like the Free Range Lobster sign I saw along the coast earlier this year. People actually fall for this stuff.

    Hi Russell
I am in Salem NH and still waiting for the Bright Silver Ceramic coat on the old gold Door & Grill of my CB1200 before I can fire it up.

I cleaned the convection blower and threw in a new exhaust blower and painted the exhaust blower housing Flat Aluminum High Heat auto Header paint and then 3 coats of clear engine paint. :)
Did you do any painting to spruce it up?

All you got to do is put "THE BEST" in front of Real Firewood, you would sell a million of them.

    * I retain Copyright to "THE BEST" , and expect all Royalties to be paid. :D

Truth being stranger than fiction, our local Price Chopper sold boxed firewood during the '14-'15 season, I vividly remember those flying off the pallet they had stacked in front of the store. IIRC those were only $9 bucks a box, so it was a great bargain! :loco:

With all this dam humidity, glad my stove is still capped. Heck this place doesnt get to 70 when I am in heating mode. Too warm for me.

I had done a test fire a couple of days ago and just had to recap , wipe down the firebox and put back the damp rid because I noticed moisture showing up again .:bug: Next year I will run the dehumidifier more and also leave the firebox door open .

    Dont do that !!

I did that one summer and that is how I got rust-even with damp rid and everything else capped. With everything capped and damp rid and the firebox door shut and sealed, I get none to minimal rust.

Starting to feel like fall for sure.

The nuts are being harvested now and hopefully we can get the new shell supply in.
