My Fahrenheit is the same way!! It has a 117 lb hopper.. So even if it runs out? It won't hold a full 3 bags. They should always go over by 10-15 lb. :)

No really a big deal, but c'mon its common sense. Oh wait, many really smart people dont have much of that. Ask most auto mechanics about the engineers that designed the vehicles they work on.

Well the way I look at it, after burning the 25PDVC which wouldn't hold 1 bag, having a stove that holds "almost" 2 bags is a bonus. I can put a whole bag in at a time now without running the stove out of fuel. And speaking of which, the PDVC wouldn't run 24 hrs. on a full hopper. So it had to be monitored constantly.

Yeah, that was my experience with the Hastings. During the deep of winter, there were days I'd get home from work right as the hopper was running out - and I had filled it before leaving that morning. Granted, my work days (plus drive time) are 12-15 hours, but that was a source of stress - wondering if my $5+/gallon propane (at the time) was going to be heating the main floor when I got home.

I'm pretty sure... but I don't usually have mine run slam out,
that I can put two bags in mine...
I know it says 76#... but I think it really holds two bags... when slam out...
(P68... and yes I have weighed the bags before...)
Consider that the size of the pellet can make a difference as well..

Mine was off when I got home, Quite a bit of solar happened. But it should fire before too long.
