I guess it's time to get the long pants out of the attic and put the shorts away. Probably clean the stove tomorrow and fire it up toward evening but tonight the switch on the wall is keeping me toasty.

I like it when you southern folks are colder than us Mainers. Starting to drop here now, though.

With the drop in temps yesterday, I fired up the wood stove using the Envi-8 blocks I have on hand. It doesn't take much to get a sweet fire going. Warmed up the downstairs and funneled up the stairs to warmup the west end of the house. I woke this morning to go to the bathroom at 5:30, and put on another package of blocks.

    Love that it's going.

I was on the road yesterday from 10AM to 8PM with stops at my Dad's down near Boston and then a stop in Kittery for a bit. In the 4 hours I was at dad's the temp dropped 10 degrees. When I got there I was thinking I should have worn shorts and when I left I had on a jacket

Yep, just fired it up tonight and I forgot how good a heater it is. After reaching 75 degrees in temp mode, I switched it to stove temp and manual so it will just simmer tonight.

E2 was gnawing on some pro pellets this morning when I got up. Don't know outside temp as thermometer bit the dust and I forgot to grab a new one yesterday. Raining a bit, looks sorta nasty out but were comfy getting ready for work.

Looks like we might have some white chit forecast mid week.......... :hair:

I think my stove ran most of the day today judging by the amount of ash in it when I got home. 35 here this AM, high today was 48 and windy. Typing this reminded me I need to put some pellets in it.
