With the chilly rain this AM, Mine was on when I got my tail outta bed. With the overcast/rain it will most likely be on when I got home.

Rain and wind yesterday and just nasty.

Cold this morning with the house at about 64 F

    Again we play musical stoves.

Little Whit churning away doing it's thing (It's thing is not enough at 38 F)
BIG dude online now and the cat is curled up on the back of the couch in the stream of warm air.

Mid 60's F by weeks end for a day or two.

Hard to get excited about much with this weather.

    More hot coffee needed.

Like wise . I love to run my stove but hate the in-between temps when it's barely running on low .

same here... makes for a slightly dirty burnpot at times..
I just run a very low fan speed on stove mode[ constant] just to keep the flame kicking and a low temp like 65 or so.
keeps the chill out and the Harman from doing it's on/off Thing..

Yep, seems stove temp and slow fan speed keeps it percolating without all the ups and downs and although I haven't measured, seems that less pellets are being consumed versus temp mode.

Even with it snowing since yesterday (no accumulation though :)), the P43 isn't burning much. The cellah dwellah kicks on regularly and enough of the heat bleeds upstairs so the main floor is staying just warm enough that the Tstat isn't telling the baby Harman to turn on very often (although last 2 mornings it has been on at 3:30 am for a short burst).

Similar here last night. Snow falling and lightly covering the grassy areas before changeover to rain. Lit the stove (unfinished basement) around 8 PM and by 9 PM it was pretty much idling after taking out the chill and turned off by 9:45 PM.

No stove burning this morning. :)

    Still cold and rainy here.
The Mt's to the east of us have picked up nearly 4 feet of snow in the past 3 days.

    Big Whit doing it's thing.

Supposed to hit mid 60's by Thursday/Friday, then by Sunday cold and wet again.

Time to clean the stoves good and be ready for the next gully washer.

Unless they reinstate massive global warming it will be June before we are done with the stoves.
