Cleaned ashes out of pot of the P43 when I got home yesterday afternoon - it was still clean this morning so it never fired overnight. Downstairs stove fired at least once though.

Have about ten pounds or so in the hopper, going to fire it up tonite and let it run out. Then I will clean and leave it off. I thought it ran out the other day, wound up the power was off about 45 mins. and it shut down.

Last night was NASTY with winds here about 50 mph and higher gusts.

    Rain going sideways.

Warm front moved in and by midnight the house was 75 F and heading north.

Shut the big Whit off and went back to bed.

    65 F this morning at 6 am.

Fired the big Whit up until the house was at 70 F again and then transferred the duty to the little Whit to deal with.

That's a good ?? I know that I've had the power go off for a minute or so and the stove picked up where it left off , but after 45 min I would say that stove thinks it ran out and needs a hard re start .

Stove was off this AM, Never fired(At least I remembered to turn it on this time). Was already off by the time I got home. Don't think I've burned 10 pounds in the last 3 days!!

Looks like 60ºF for at least the next 3 days or so. I might have a project this weekend. Something about a cover needing to be removed and some batteries/gear to be stowed?? Hmmm!!

I have an old Harman Invincible RS, 2nd stove they ever made. No auto start very basic, the power was off 45 mins. probably just long enough to go out completely

The P43 still had a clean burnpot when I got home yesterday, and actually never fired until I turned up the 'stat this morning so I could have a bit of extra warmth after my shower (and blow dry my hair). That means the stove stayed off by itself for a good 36 hours. Downstairs stove fires on a regular basis - to be expected since the ground is still frozen starting about 2" down.
